From my studio to her home… and a beautiful reminder of why I love what I do. 🌿
One of my students has just sent me this lovely photo of the sculpture she created at my Birkdale studio, now proudly displayed in her own home.
Moments like this make me incredibly happy. What begins as a piece of clay in the studio becomes something meaningful that a student can take home and enjoy for years to come.
My clay sculpting classes are about so much more than learning to sculpt. They bring people together, build friendships, and create a wonderful sense of community and connectedness. Students encourage one another, share ideas, laugh together, and celebrate each other’s achievements.
After 26 years of teaching from my Birkdale studio, it is still one of my greatest joys to see the friendships and connections that have grown through the shared love of creativity.
