Bovis Lend Lease Bob Johnston Commission

B1-&-B2-for-web

Brisbane Sculptor Georgette Schwantes Pictured sculpting and the finished art, she carefully crafted and Mr Johnston after the presentation.

When Bovis Lend Lease was searching for a unique parting gift for its Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific who was retiring after 20 years service, they sought out Birkdale sculptor Georgette Schwantes for a commission.

Georgette created a caricature that depicted some of the highlights of Mr. Johnston’s past and career, yet was clearly recognisable.

Georgette said that after carefully studying CEO’s facial characteristics she created the very stylised yet remarkable likeness of the recipient.

Georgette. The bust was sensational.
Many thanks. It was the most appropriate farewell gift.   Bob was blown away.   Thanks again.  Fond regards
