Restoration of a sculptured Doll

broken sculpturerepair to sculptureHere are the before and after shots of a clay doll sculpture I repaired. It was purchased overseas and damaged in transit on its return back to Australia. The owners were devastated to find that even though they had paid to have it shipped professionally it still got damaged.

Testimonials

Dear Georgette
What a wonderful surprise when I arrived home from work tonight to see standing on the table the pottery head. I couldn’t believe my eyes. It is truly fantastic and I even think it looks better than the original before it was broken. You have certainly worked a miracle and can’t thank you enough as it meant so much to Shoshana to have it fixed.
Shoshana has not seen it yet but I have spoken to her and told her that we have it and I didn’t think she would be disappointed with it.
Christopher said that you had asked him if it would al-right to use the photos of mending the head on your web site. Of course you can use the photos on your web site and the repair work you have completed comes with the highest recommendation.
Once again Georgette thank you so very much for doing such an incredible job.
Kind Regards
Judith Thomson
