Excellent sculpture, of a female African head and shoulders, Tess has, during the art class, done an excellent creation of the head, which is also wearing a turban. The ears are covered up with wrapping paper to stop them drying out too quickly – before the rest dries, its now drying out beautifully before its fired. I love the way Tess has created the shoulders with the left shoulder on a higher level to the right one, as the sculpture head is also facing to the right.
