Alli has created two sculpted logs with an opening designed to hold a small smoke machine, creating the wonderful illusion that the logs are gently smouldering in the fireplace. It’s such a clever idea and a perfect example of how imagination and creativity can transform clay into something truly unique.
One of the greatest pleasures of teaching is watching students take an idea from their imagination and bring it to life. Every sculpture tells a different story, and no two creations are ever the same.
