Clay hand building workshop, a new adventure for the New Year

Clay is so accommodating and easy to manage, not forgetting that it’s also therapeutic.  I had a student who, finding out she had cancer, went to a psychiatrist to help her come to terms with it and how to deal with it.  The Psychiatrist told her that she had to find something that would take her mind off it.  He suggested either handling pastry or clay sculpting,  as it has something to do with the moulding of these two subjects that is so relaxing.
