Carving out her sculpture

Carving out her sculpture at the Art Studio in Birkdale is Merle, www.georgettesart.com This is Merle’s first life size of a head. Today she will join the top back on. We carve out the insides as to make sure we haven’t got any air bubbles inside as that would then tend to break in the kiln, it also makes it much easier to cary and move around. Well done Merle!
