Carving out his sculpture during the clay sculpture classes in Birkdale is Rhys. Rhys first carved out from the head lessening the weight before he carves out below. This is Rhys’s first sculpture head but during his creation he decided he wanted to add a body to it as he wanted the hair to cascade past her shoulders. Rhys mainly comes in the evenings as he works full time but, here he is during the day as he is making up missed sessions.
