Jan has just completed her beautiful relief sculpture at the clay sculpting classes in Birkdale. Her piece is now drying, and once it detaches from the base, we’ll add hooks to the back so she can proudly hang it in her home. After it’s fired, coloured, and sealed, Jan will finish the piece by adding the stone she’s carefully chosen—an elegant touch that will make it truly one-of-a-kind.
Jan is already looking ahead to her next project, excited to start a brand-new sculpture this Thursday. Her enthusiasm is infectious, and it’s wonderful to see how much joy she finds in the creative process.
