Carved out and now ready for detailing

Carved out his Lion during the clay art sculpturing classes in Birkdale Brisbane. we now have to detail it before it is allowed to dry and then fired. Mark is enjoying his retirement with pottering around with clay which he had never touched before starting. This is not his first sculpture but I feel its his favourite as it started off being a pot for his wife until he decided to keep it as a full lion sculpture. Good choice Mark.
