I’m delighted to share that my latest porcelain sculpture has come through the kiln beautifully — always a moment of relief and celebration for any sculptor.
Measuring 29cm x 46cm, creating figurative work in porcelain at this size is not often done, making this successful firing even more rewarding.
Porcelain is a challenging but beautiful medium — delicate to work with, yet so elegant and timeless once completed.
This original sculpture is now on display in my Birkdale Gallery, alongside over 40 other one-of-a-kind works. You are most welcome to visit, and if you’ve ever wanted to try sculpting yourself, my ongoing clay sculpting classes in Birkdale for the past 26 years are open to beginners and continuing students alike.
