If you have ever had the urge to create a portrait bust , this is the workshop for you. Georgette will guide you through all the processes in manageable, easily mastered, but exciting steps. You will learn a simple, strong hand-building method that you will be able to use on any hand-building project. More importantly, you will learn how to model a credible, expressive and individual sculptured bust – a work to be proud of. Past students have been amazed by the understanding of the human face that they have developed, and by their quickly found ability to transform this understanding into a beautiful, tactile work of art. From Georgette’s gentle manner you will be fully receptive to a wonderful creative experience.

All sculptures are hollow and after firing can be placed inside or outside. You do not need to have any experience at all to Create your own one off pieces of collectable fine art or furnish your home with your own artwork. Join either a beginners or advanced sculpture class.  All clay materials are supplied to enable you to create an original work of art that you will be proud of.

                                                Georgette Creates Symbols of Faith

Artist / Sculptor Georgette Schwantes, from Birkdale, was commissioned by the CARMEL COLLEGE to create two crosses to signify the college symbols.  "Let Your Light Shine"  The large cross will be displayed at the Altar while the smaller cross is carried by the front bearer of the procession

Hi Georgette,

Had a GOOD look at the sculpture of Jesus and I'm loving it.

It has a genuine warmth to it and a friendliness which will draw children to him (Jesus) - just like we aim to do in our Religious Education lessons - to draw children to Jesus.

I now teach privately at my studio and Art Gallery in Birkdale, where you can purchase quality one off original sculptures direct from the Artist.  My classes are held every week. Teaching sculpture to students and helping them to create an original sculpture to decorate their home.   Art Sculpture Tuition is held every Thursday.  Classes are held each Thursday 9 - 12pm 1 - 4 pm and also evening Classes at 6 - 9pm
