My name is Roy Wyatt. I am the Sport Development Manager for Wynnum Manly Leagues Club. Recently through the recommendation of Michael at Pacific Trophies we commissioned Georgette to produce a kangaroo sculpture to be the centrepiece of a shield that Michael is building for us to donate to Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League.

The sculpture is being commissioned by Wynnum Manly Leagues Club. Wynnum Manly Leagues Club is donating a shield and display/travel case to Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League to supplement their International Rugby League programme. All results of International matches between Australian Schoolboys teams and visiting/hosting teams from 1972 until the present will be displayed inside the doors of the display/travel case.
Wynnum Manly Leagues Club is building on its hard won reputation as the “home of Schoolboy Rugby League in Australia” and will house and display the shield between competitions. Teams from Great Britain, France, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea feature prominently in past results. Until now there has been no permanent trophy to compete for. A small replica will be taken by visiting teams every time a series is contested and the main trophy returned for permanent display in the foyer of Wynnum Manly Leagues Club.

The display will be officially dedicated and opened to the public at Wynnum Manly Leagues Club on the weekend of November 13th  2010 in conjunction with the final of the Four Nations Rugby League Tournament at Suncorp Stadium.

Client Feedback

Hi Georgette

Everyone was very impressed with the finished product and it is on permanent display in the foyer of Wynnum Manly Leagues Club. The only time it will be taken down will be when games are being held. We have a shipping case and the whole trophy and display case can be couriered to where the game is being held.

Thank you for your efforts with this truly remarkable piece of work

Kind Regards, Roy

Roy Wyatt.
